Hearthbreak South Rare Earth Project

  • Exploration Licence Application E63/2298
  • Assays by previous explorers indicate the presence of highly anomalous Rare Earth Elements (REE)
  • The prospective strata occurs within 20 to 40 meters of the surface
  • The enrichment may follow the lake system and may contain substantial REE mineralisation
  • Sampling in the north of the target area has revealed high concentrations of cerium to 666ppm with a number of samples reporting >500ppm cerium
  • The other rare earth elements were not assayed
  • Initial exploration may comprise either detailed gravity surveys or seismic surveys to locate the probable subsurface trend of the channel hosting the mineralisation
  • This work may be followed up by shallow aircore drillholes to determine the source of the anomalous REE
